Over the weekend, I installed my Pioneer AppRadio SPH DAV02 (yes, myself and successfully) that I purchased a few years ago. I have jail broken my IPhone 4S and installed Cydia and AppRadio Extensions. I installed the parking brake and will install the reverse camera today. My problem is that I do not have a good understanding of how these things work together, so I cannot make heads or tails when trying connect this to my head unit. I also would like to know how to bypass the parking brake...I read you could do this. I am a number cruncher (general ledger, financials, taxes, etc.), so my education is not really helping me here. I know just enough about the world of IT to get by... If someone could help me better understand how these things work together (not coding or anything...just what comes first and second in the process), so I know if I am missing a download or whatever that might be causing me a problem. I truly appreciate all you have done to help the rest of us and I have great respect for the minds of your generation.... If you could guide me to something that would help me understand how jail breaking works, etc...I would be forever grateful!
