bruss156
I have been searching everywhere to find info on what file type it is being used for these animations. I've even talked to Pioneer support, and they are no help. I've dug deep in the forums here and couldn't find any answers anywhere, just people asking for some to be made.*this place is for just grabbing pre-made splash screens and bg images? So, in summary... what file type is being used? Where can I get more info reguarding this issue?Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!Bob R.AVIC 8000NEXinstalled in my 2008 H3
jverz
I've also been trying to figure this ever since I saw those animated wallpapers. I assume the animations are built into the deck. But, when I have the time I will encode a video clip in every format I can think of and try them out. I'll tell you if I find anything and, if not, what I tried that didn't work. bunkai
interesting that no one has responded to this? There are pages and pages of background images available here - I'd be very interested in how to do the animated boot up with a chevy logo or something like that
Sin91
have you tried renaming a .gif file to .jpeg and see if that would fool it? I'm new at this and would like to know how to load a animated background.
Sin91
nevermind. that didn't work

onebyside
Wow, more hand feeding, I just scrolled down and see a thread titled Splash Screen Sizing....so those screens will help you find the ideal size. do you guys even try to read other threads? Read, try some things out. Experiment

Magister
bootanimation is a zip file with no compression, it has a very special format, there is a lot of info on android bootanim on the net and I'm sure some website can craft you one online giving it some pic. Then you'd have to install it in /data/local/bootanimation.zip I guess.
