browningv308
New guy here, Recently purchased a tahoe with a avic z2, after getting the tahoe home and checking out the radio I discovered that the c/d player doesn't work, it just say's unreadable disc when I put in a c/d {original copy } I asked a at a few car stero places around town and a few of the people said to try removing the hard drive then see it it resets the unit. So I try this today and removed the hard drive by turning on the unit, pressing the tilt button, turning off the key, then remove the two screws on the cover plate, grabed the ribbon and pulled out the hard drive I then waited a few mins, and reinserted the hard drive, screwed the cover back on, turned on the key, and the unit made a fan noise for a few and the screen said { statring Pioneer navigation unit } Now thats all thats happening, all of the buttons are unresponsive execpt the tilt button. I even pressed the reset with a paperclip, All I get is Startinh Pioneer navigation Unit has been on this screen for over an hour, What did I do wrong? Befor all this the only problem the unit was having was it did not read a c/d everthing else worked as it should. Thanks in advance for your help.
browningv308
Update now if I leave everything off for an hour or so the unit will go to the Pioneer screen but then thats it. It might be time to invest in a new unit? RIP
