Can anyone confirm is iGo license will fail after cloned sd card replacement? I'm asking about hardware identification information for iGo. This hardware id data exists only on sd card or in nor flash too?

Is it possible to get SD card image with latest iGo maps from another man and write this image into my device? Will iGo licenses work with it?

Course, hardware identification information for iGo exist,NNG insert its own ID on sd card as well as strict dependance of the unique SWID of the device (nor flash) and sd card S.N.

So, the iGO shouldn't work with out "special" manipulations... 8)

oh guys

i have a rar archive with a lot of licenses
download it and try to use

In Brazil, we have HERE MAPS 2015 Q1, but i can't update it because i don't know how to generate update stm archive in synctools folder
IGO generate a md5 and stm file to indicate files to update.
if it missed, update will be fail
IRlKLfJ.png

After use naviextra software to performe some update, the software generate two new files

here the .stm file structure

This *.stm-files is not license files. This files is instructions for igo with information what to copy and where to copy. *.md5-files is MD5 checksums. It was possible to use naviextras toolbox to generate this files with my own contents to upload my own contents to device, but this is useless now as we can copy files directly to device using testmode.

below there are some license files for diferent gps products

you can donwload and test  it

look for that

It seems that you are well versed in this. Is there any chances to upload different or updated maps? Uploading new maps into internal flash isn't problem using testmode. Problem is getting licenses for this maps.

Tnx Mate!

To completely finish the work (to enable online services [wheather, fuel, local search & online parking]),I need the one missed license (Pioneer_NA_Connected_Services_2014_Q4.lyc).May be someone, have been updated via toolbox, can share it with me !?

If so - wellcome to PM. :)

VID 10c4 PID ea60 from CP2102

VID 0b95 PID 772b from ASIX ethernet adapter

Looks like this devices has no drivers.

But there is no "not supported" line for FT232RL USB-UART adapter. So it supported or I do something wrong?

Also I have tried to change USB OTG ID to HIGH. After this change device reboots and USB Host/Function field of USB1 (device calls USB1 = Port1 and USB2 = Port0) is changed from USB Host to USB Function. After this change, USB1 is working like slave device, it is not possible to insert and use USB-flash in this USB1. I think this can help finding USB ADB, but I do not unserstand how to connect, for example, my laptop (I need USB-male<>USB-male cable?). Also maybe I need to change debug serial setting to ON (default is OFF). update: there is not very clear scheme of work, you should select port number (0 = USB2, 1 = USB1) in submenu and then use other menus of USB test.

Also I have tried to change product information. (Write product information (manual) menu). It is possible to change long 16-digit number (something like serial), but I think this product info is not affects iGo license. I changed last digit from 2 to 3 and reboot device. iGo software ID's isn't changed, licenses still working, so I revert this digit back to 2.

Using copy_script.sh, get the output of 'netcfg' before and after the usb device is connected.   if that doesn't work, check "ifconfig eth0", "ifconfig usb0", and "ifconfig wlan0", then change the 0's to 1s

Thank you, I'll try later.

How to connect pioneer device in device (not host) mode to laptop? I must use USB-male <=> USB-male cable?

Is it possible to check is pioneer's USB ADB enabled and working using USB-microUSB cable and my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phone ? Is it possible to view usb device information from USB-OTG connection from my phone?

You should be able to but you will need a USB-A to USB-A cable. I bought one but when I switch my Radio to Device mode my computer does not detect it.

As for the ethernet, I have noticed the device as network drivers of some sort, have you tried connecting it and then running a scan of your network and seeing if the network lights turn on?
