aguilafan Posted May 2, 2015 Report Share Posted May 2, 2015 Hi, As someone who has both an Note 3 and iPhone 5S, would it be possible to have the NEX 8100 installed with both the Lightning Cable and the Android wire so I could alternate between using CarPlay and Android Auto or am I limited to one or the other? Thanks, Phil I don't know why not. iPhone in usb1 and android in usb2. You would have to change the smartphone settings each time you plugged one or the other in and can't use both at once as far as I can tell. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I can confirm that you can switch between Car Play and Android Auto just like Nolarola described. The 8100 smartphone settings drive which one comes up if you plug both in.
