Pogigreg
So, I bought a 7000 NEX last week. It was used and it was missing the microphone. I alaready had a Kenwood Bluetooth radio installed, so I removed the radio and used the mic that came with the Kenwood. I had to buy a 3.5 female to 2.5mm male recucer to plug in to the mic. The problem is nobody can understand me. Siri can't understand me. I have to practically scream to become clear. Is this because of the reducer? Do I need a complete 2.5 mm microphone without reducer? Is this why the quality is so bad?
kelkin
Impedance mismatch, the mic you're using wasn't designed to work with the input level required by the Pioneer unit. Contact pioneer for a replacement or the point of purchase.
