sc1984 Posted September 1, 2015 Report Share Posted September 1, 2015 Hello, I am looking to upgrade my AVIC-Z3. From what I researched here the 8000 is practically identical to the 8100. You just need to do a firmware update to enable Car Play? Am I better off saving $200 and getting 8000 or is the upgrade glitchy and not worth it and better off paying the extra cash for 8100?
