tmoney468
Hey everyone, I've been having an issue with my AppRadio 3 ever since 8.4, and continue to have it with ios 9 as well. Whenever I hook up my iPhone with the lightning to hdmi adapter, my phone briefly shows an external connection (blue menu bar at top), but then 3-4 seconds after connecting the AppRadio switches to the "Off" screen. No mirroring ever occurs, and I never get a prompt on my phone to allow external output. I've tried unpairing my phone, deleting from the AR, and re-adding it but to no avail. This is the same adapter and HDMI cable I've used since getting the stereo, and it did work in the past. Does anyone have any ideas? The adapter works fine in other areas; I'm able to hook up my iphone to a TV and output it. So the adapter is fine. The only other thing i can think of is somehow the HDMI cable is bad? Thanks for the help!
Keetchyboy
Try swapping your 'HDMI' cable for a 'high speed HDMI' Cable. This got my iPhone working with Appradio Regards, Keetchyboy
tmoney468
Thanks, I'll try a new HDMI cable. Weird thing is this HDMI cable worked previously, it wasn't until I installed new RCA cables to my amp that AR Mode stopped working. Too bad its such a pain to try a new cable in my car :/
