acquacow
Alright, up on 1.05 now... Looks like some thing is broken with USB updating in 1.05. It does a quick 30 sec flash from 1.03 to 1.05, then reboots and does about a 5min update from 1.03 to 1.05. My guess is that in going from 1.01 to 1.05, the USB update starts, it reboots, then can't read the firmware on usb anymore. If you use a blank sd card for the whole operation, you should be fine. acquacow
I started the update via SD card: It "finished" in one minute: The headunit rebooted and dropped back to the screen I was stuck at the last time I tried the update via usb: It picked up the firmware this time and started the longer update: This took 5 mins to complete. All done.

scott_0
I bought my headunit through Crutchfield last month, its still on 1.01, I get the feeling that I should remain on this version of firmware as I have no issues and I use Android Auto, which it seems 1.05 is creating issues with AA

dc2r
I'm running a 4200NEX and Oneplus 3T with AA. (wish i had screen mirroring). think im on 1.03. Any reason to update? Cant seem to find changelog for older versions. I dont want to break brake bypass or encounter other issues but have a wierd obsession with updating everything as soon as its released.
