kcrebel
I have a Pioneer Avic x920bt that I had had in my pickup since 2010. Alpine amp. Polk audio door speakers. JL Audio Stealth Sub box in center console. Xm, Onstar and Steering wheel control harnesses installed. This system has worked flawlessly up until a couple of days ago. A couple of days ago I noticed the volume seemed weak from the door speakers. So I performed a fade and figured out both rear door speakers were dead. Today I did some troubleshooting. I switched the input wires around at the amp and couldn't get the rear speakers to work. I then removed the head unit from the dash and when I switched the output wires (front to rear speakers) they worked perfectly. I'm guessing I have an issue with the rear channel outputs at the head unit? Yesterday in middle of phone call the BT lost connection and radio started playing again. I thought I must have dropped the call so I looked at my phone. Call was still going. Before I could switch it back to my phone from radio the BT reconnected and I completed the call. First time that has ever happened. Is my head unit failing? Is there anything I can do to further troubleshoot before I replace this unit? Thanks in advance for the help.
