aagaag
I am trying to swap a 9-yr old Kenwood DNX5200 (in a Toyota Sienna) with a new AVIC-F77DAB. I had been hoping that I could simply unplug the Kenwood and attach all the connectors to the AVIC. Unfortunately, things are more complex than I thought. The main connector on the back of the AVIC is shaped similarly to the Kenwood, but it has fewer pins. I am attaching screenshots from the Kenwood and the Pioneer installation manuals, respectively. Does this mean that these connectors are not standardized? Will I have to identify the various cables one-by-one by their colors and attach them to the AVIC multipin connector? Sorry for the n00b questions and thanks in advance for any help and advice that you might give to me.
