f960DAB forgot password

Hi guys, 

 

have my unit since few months but replaced battery recently and asking for the password which I dont remember. 

 

Could someone help ?

Same issue... I bought my 960DAB from a popular second hand store - with tax invoice & all > though, made the mistake to decide to fit the unit some 4 months later...

 

So, for my luck, upon power up, it comes up with the "Password entry screen". I've tried contacting the shop, though, a bit hard for them to get hold of the previous owner.

 

Any easy (??) ways of clearing up the password ?

Someone else has mentioned the fact if I can prove the unit is 'legit' owned, Pioneer may clear the password for free ? (if there is such thing they do ever... haha)
