496 BB Posted August 2, 2016 Report Share Posted August 2, 2016 Ok so didnt even realize all these years but I have a 3.5mm mono jack on my radar detector. My question is how if possible would I run this so it runs thru my speakers? I dont HAVE to have auto mute but if its possible Im game to do it. I like to roll out with the radio on (have a full system) when kids are not in the truck and have always thought someday I would figure out how to do this until I saw the jack on there and now hoping it makes it easier. I have a 2011 Silverado HD with Bose. Im running the idata harness and GM +5. I cant remember correctly but I do know that harness plugs into one of the 3.5mm jacks in the back for steering wheel controls. Any ideas? I searched and didnt find anything pertinent. Thanks, Chris.
