M3Myles
I drive an 08 BMW 135i and I had to have an installer cut some plastic parts where my factory radio was placed, this was 2 years ago. I had a different installer last week install a PAC wiring harness from the crappy Metro wire harness I was using. PAC harness is working great, however the bezel holding in the 8000NEX radio isn't stable at all. The first installer didn't follow the instructions properly and just botched my install. Anyone know of any companies making a Double DIN kit for a 135i coupe without navigation? Problem #2 When I plug in my lightning chord into my phone and hit play "IPOD" to play FLAC songs on my iphone. The radio will play the song, but no music will play from speakers.I always end up having to unplug the ligntning chord from the usb chord coming from the radio, then it works. Please keep in mind the Apple lightning chord is brand new.

rockthebeef
Aside from Metra, I found this one by Googling for it. http://www.janus-design.net/english/e81-e82-e87-e88-double-din/index.php I can't really help much with the lightning cable (cord) issue... Sometimes all it takes is a hard restart of the phone to fix these types of issues.
Spankey
I have issues with music not playing when the phone is plugged in from time to time no matter the file. I often have to pull the cable out and reinsert and everything is fine. It's one of my major frustrations with the unit and CarPlay. I'm not sure which is to blame.
