tashamosaic Posted December 4, 2016 Report Share Posted December 4, 2016 So I have my avi adapter to iPhone connected to HDMI and USB and get the iPhone screen on the radio to show. I can show videos with the "photos" app. If I try the directv app I get audio but no video. Is this what is suppose to happen? Is there a different way to have this video from Directv app show??? gggplaya Posted May 26, 2017 Report Share Posted May 26, 2017 It's called "HDCP", it's not specific to the iPHONE but something done by the app itself. It basically protects the movie and tv content from being recorded by an external recorder. What I do with my pioneer 4200nex is use a chromecast to play netflix.
