I just installed the 4200 NEX with the bypass and cant get it to connect, no matter what. even picked up the pioneer cable kit from best buy and had no luck. the phone shows charging Thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I did and thanks for the suggestion. I was able to finally get it to work, been trying for 3 days. apparently the different cables I was trying to use were not the "factory issued" cables that came for the Note 5. I grabbed my GF's cable that came with her Note 4 and it connected right away. so if anyone is trying to use a standard USB cable, you may have issues connecting. Now I just gotta order some Samsung OEM cables. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
aprim Posted January 6, 2017 Report Share Posted January 6, 2017 The note 5 still has the HDMI output so don't forget to grab that samsung cable to take advantage of it. I actually ran HDMI Output to the front of my lighterport. It worked great before I upgraded and realized no more HDMI support. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
