I've been reading the "development mod" and can't seem to follow the link to get a testmode a key. Please someone help or private message me how to get the testmode-a key or unlock it.. Thanks. Magister Posted January 13, 2017 Report Share Posted January 13, 2017 The script to make a key is here, I didn't use it however : https://github.com/bassrock/AVIC-NEX Instead you can use about any zip file from the thread, be it for backup, TMC, iGo, etc, for instance: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/81468-the-avic-development-mod/page-10&do=findComment&comment=337784 And put the content on a USB key and put it in USB1, your system will reboot in testmode, then you can go in File Maintenance to browse filesystem. Now its asking for password which I cant remember anymore since its been 2 years since installed this. Any help will be greatly appreciated. When you say use any zip file on that link even though its not for 4000, will work on 4000? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.
