huddy
Pioneer just announced via a Facebook post that they are going to be releasing new firmware for NEX units. They did not specify which units. Just thought I would pass it along.

huddy
Installed the 1.14 firmware and 03.41.12 BT update on my 6000. Took about 12 mins using USB1. No issues other than I had to "forget" the AVIC from my Bluetooth settings on my phone in order to get it to re-pair with the unit.
ieastsidechevyrider
is it safe to update if we have the crack installed on our units?

Pig Vomit
I have a AVH-4000NEX. Unlike the last firmware update for this unit, the 1.14 update really does update the Bluetooth firmware as it's supposed to.
ieastsidechevyrider
yes. just re-apply the crack after update the last crack specified for version 1.11. will it still work?
Magister
With the latest version on my 5200, I am not able anymore to paste file in the iGO license folder using the testmode/file maintenance mode, so be careful if you update firmware and want to put new maps/licenses. Rubicon
My unit is saying that I can only have the upgrade file on the SD card but the instructions and everything I've found online make it seem like you should copy the unzipped folder to the card. Does anyone know which file works for the upgrade or have you been successful with the whole folder? Thanks!
