werock49
I just had my 6200nex installed in my 2008 mazda cx-7 that has a bose sound system. the installer said he used the correct installation equipment but my fader control and speaker source levels wont work. The fader system works with the front speakers but not the rear. On top of that, my air conditioner quit working. One of the controls he installed was suppose to tie into the car temp display and now the temp display is not there. Do you know what would cause this? He might have used the wrong equipment, installed it wrong, or, the 6200nex just plain wont work with the bose sound system. Please help!!
josney
I know that when I installed my first aftermarket pioneer in my CTS with the factory amplification, it did not fade properly either. It may not be that he installed it wrong, it may just be the way things are gonna be with the stock amp. probably the only way to get the fader to work properly is to bypass the factory stuff. as for the other issues, I cant comment on the ac and all not working. but Blose amps are kinda notorious for not playing nicely with aftermarket. jegonzo3
I would take it back and have him fix, at least, the AC issue. It's possible you may not be able to get the fader working. I have a Mazda3 with the Bose system, but I only switched out the stereo and my fader/balance work fine. What control did he install, in regards to the car temp?
