gambit784 Posted June 6, 2017 Report Share Posted June 6, 2017 Has anybody successfully updated the 8100 NEX radio with the latest Bluetooth found in the 1.09 Firmware? I was able to update my Firmware from 1.05 to 1.09 with no issues but when I followed the directions to update the Bluetooth, it Errors out, and what's worse the Bluetooth on the radio is not working at all...Any suggestions would be helpful. gambit784 Posted June 6, 2017 Author Report Share Posted June 6, 2017 So I called up Pioneer and they told me that I should reformat the USB to Fat 32, download the update again and try to reapply the software. Which I've done countless times. My next step is to take the radio out and ship it to Pioneer for them to evaluate it. I will remove it this weekend and ship it to them on Monday. FYI, my radio is out of warranty and it's $80 for them to evaluate it. A word of caution to anybody that's thinking of updating the BLUETOOTH on the NEX 8100!! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
