Ryoma424 Posted October 14, 2017 Report Share Posted October 14, 2017 I have an AVIC 8100nex installed in my vehicle. It is currently running on firmware 1.01. I wasnt able to update it due to being deployed overseas. Today, i attempted to update to 1.10. I downloaded the file from the pioneer site and saved it to the root of a blank sd card which i formatted to fat32. I put the sd card into the receiver and began the install. As soon as it began i received an update error and was prompted to press the home button so it can try again. Ive tried many times and now its stuck there. I also realized that i did not turn the AV off before i started the install. Ive tried factory resetting. Ive tried disconnecting the power from my truck and still no luck. Everytime i turn on the radio, it goes straight to reading the sd. Does anyone have any advice for this problem? Ive gone through this forum and i have not seen this problem.
