zadigadabop
Do all Pioneer units require you to press OK when starting up the unit? If so what other head units out there don't have this annoying "feature". Is a firmware reflash possible and really feasible? I am looking to upgrade my older AVH-P4300DVD unit but having to accept the legal terms every time I get in my car is a deal breaker. I've already had to put up with 5 years of other annoying "features" and lack of updates that I just can't go down that road again. Thanks
dhonzik
Yes, all of them have it, Its a liability statement and all the new units this goes away by itself after 7 seconds
zadigadabop
Thanks for the reply. I've read that you must press OK otherwise the unit will shutdown. Is that true or is it just on some models? Can a custom ROM update do away with this requirement?
jegonzo3
If I remember correctly, the 4100 you had to press OK for it to go away, with my 4200 it goes away automatically (after how long, I don't know, I haven't timed it).
