Bypass works the same on all 4400/6400/8400 models if this is not enough, you need to connect the light-green cable (handbrake) with GND. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

As for the bypass directions for the 6400 and 8400 work flawlessly but ive tried multiple times on the 4400, and it does not work because its an AVH model and NOT an avic model? A few people say that disconnecting the GPS antenna works but does lag the GPS positioning. Id prefer to have both functions working how i want them lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Jstrong Posted August 5, 2018 Report Share Posted August 5, 2018 I tried disconnecting the GPS antenna on my 4400, did not work it lagged the gps my using the phones gps, but you still can not watch video in motion. No matter what you do the 4400 knows your moving with or without the gps plugged in. Video turns back on at every stop light though. lol so the unit is to smart for the green and yellow wire tricks.
