amp3d
I've got some older avic devices that all needed bypasses... But I'm curious about the newer devices that do not have built in maps. Even though the devices such as the C5500NEX uses android auto and carplay will it still lock itself out when in motion?
bonee
My guess would be yes for safety....
amp3d
I assumed so. I've never used android auto before, what does a lockout look like on android auto? Can you enter addresses into google maps etc?
Profound_Autosound
Android auto, and Apple car play let you do just about everything have free! (Using only voice of course). The lock-out basically doesn't let you watch movies, toe phone numbers, nor addresses (if you purchased the optional nav add-on) without the parking brake wow seeing ground. I believe they kept the gyro on this and 4500 as well. You'll more than likely have to put the device into dev mode of you want a ticket...I mean.... Want to be able to watch movies while driving....yeah ...
