ErikCarlson Posted April 27, 2019 Report Share Posted April 27, 2019 I've had my F77DAB for a few years and have generally been very happy with it, however a few months ago the reverse camera input became first intermittent and then seems to have failed utterly. I have spent a day today troubleshooting, I have tried 3 different reverse cameras , today I have also hooked up a portable composite video monitor to the same cable that carries video from the reverse camera and it sees the image just fine, but the f77DAB only shows a black screen (with warning about reversed image) when i put the car in reverse. I have replaced the video cable. and verified power is good with a multimeter just to be sure. I've checked my settings, camera video type was set to auto but i have iterated through the others to be sure. Any ideas? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
