Gadget343
Ref vehicle 2010 Toyota 4Runner. Currently the back up camera trigger is the connector plugged into the OBD port. I do have a 12v+ trigger in the harness for reverse. Is it possible to use that in some way to trigger the backup camera display or any other way other than using the OBD port? My OBD port is used by another device. Thanks!

Rocinante
Did you mean the trigger wire only and/or the power source wire? You could use a Haynes manual or a Youtube instructional video to find an alternate source for your reverse wire. You just need to find the right colored wire that is connected to one of your reverse lights. I have my power wire connected to a constant power source, which allows me to turn on the reverse camera even when I do not have the car in reverse.
bonee
never connect camera to a constant wire. That will drain your battery. Connect camera power to ign or acc wire in the car. And reverse trigger to tail light or at the car dash fuse box. White 36 pin plug. Pin 4 red wire
