snowmanx Posted October 6, 2007 Report Share Posted October 6, 2007 Just had my unit professionally installed, it's a AVIC N3 into a Dodge 3/4 ton Quad cab truck. I had them do a bypass so that all functions work while driving and everything works except the speed display underthe vehicle dynamics. The other thing that doesn't seem to work is the speed pulse. The installer swears it's installed right and can't figure it out. Tech support says it's a bad unit???? PLEASE HELP me get this fixed. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
hottwhyrd Posted October 6, 2007 Report Share Posted October 6, 2007 ummm what year dodge? if its 04 and up then there is no speed pulse in your truck. youll need an adapter to get vss from the can-bus system. as far as ur speed reading ive gotta 06 megacab with no vss or reverse hooked up and everything works great.
