installermarc Posted October 9, 2007 Report Share Posted October 9, 2007 Can also find vss in the plug going to the cluster, green/white in the 4th position in (only green/white in a 4th pin in). Rev should be lt green at the rev light. And yes, you need a dash kit to mount the unit. I use a metra 99-2003. You will also have to trim a bit of plastic inside the dash to make room for the new unit. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
brianas Posted October 13, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 13, 2007 thanks alot, the VSS was right at the cluster-made it much easier. had to get the REV at the fuse blk under rear seat. suprised i couldnt find the REV up front any where- yes i did need to trim that brkt support for the factory radio easy one - for once - took 30 secs with dremmel the fit and finish with the metrakit to chevy was really not the greatest- but that seems common on the gms thanks Josh Quote Link to post Share on other sites
