schandir
I dont think anyone has come about this problem but my Avic Z2 is causing a strange problem after I did an audio system install. Both of these features were working great before the audio system install. When I go to the Virtual Instrument Panel, I get a no signal even tho the signal wire is connected. And as for the GPS, Its getting proper signal but the GPS does not put me on the proper road I am on and the vehicle directing is also backwards. I just dont understand whats going on.. installermarc
I would try a "soft reset" and see if it corrects your problem. BTW, it is the small push button at the bottom of the unit (use an ink pen or toothpick). It will wipe out your station presets, eq, and everything else in the memory, but I would give it a shot. schandir
Well i have done the soft reset many times and that did not work. I just pulled the deck back out to see if non of these wires were crimped and sure enough it was not so i put it all back together and now it works!.. Its strange why i didnt work before...?
