From what I've read on the net the new Saab radios are a GM product and no longer use the fiber optic system. Before I rip apart my new car I'd like to hear from someone else. So now when it comes I can get startedI know it was a long time ago you posted but was your install successful? Did you lose any functions such as warning chimes and park assist chimes? Just got an Avic 900FBT and am being told that I will lose the above functions but wondering if this advice , although offered with the best of intentions, is correct?
