FiveOneFive Posted December 22, 2019 Report Share Posted December 22, 2019 Hello I have a Japanese car with an avic-hrz 0037 (HP308A). I was wondering if I could hot swap the unit with a Z1/Z2/Z3 without having to pull ALL the wiring out? The only reason I suggest this is because the Z1/Z2/Z3 all seem to have the same(I think) black and white connector plugs (added photo at bottom for comparison). It connects to the reversing camera, and has its own independent box - so I assume a lot of the compatibility issues will occur there. I have taken a picture of the wiring harnesse(s) and a picture of the avic-hrz 0037 (from an auction site, for comparison). Has anyone tried this or something similar?
