I've have been on all the iOS 14 betas and I still have it.  But I will say it was much lower in b4-b5, but I find that b6 (for the last couple of days) has been worse.  I think it might just be random though and unrelated to iOS; but I hope its related and Apple is trying to compensate for whatever the problem is.  I am largely hoping that iPhone 12 Pro (and QualComm) will fix it by getting rid of the cancer that is Intel modems

Just noticed this today and was headed here to make a post about the new firmware, but I already see that you are on top of it.

Has anyone been having problems updating the 1.3 with usb. Hasn't been working for me neither the caravassist

Is the issue you are having with USB the fact that it doesn't seem to see the USB stick?  Or is it something else?  I did have a HELL of a time getting the DMH-WT8600NEX to accept a USB stick.  I went through a bunch of different USB stick, all of them failed to be recognized, the only one that worked was a small, very old 1Gig USB stick

I tried about 6 other USB sticks before finding one that worked.  Those other ones that failed, I have used to play videos on the headunit, so there is something about the firmware environment that seems much more "picky" than when using media.  The USB that worked for me was swag from some trade show, (it was a little plastic man, whose head comes off and is a 1GB usb stick), so I don't have any details about its make/etc.   Maybe bonee can mention a make/model/link for one that worked?

I just forked over the $1,069.98 cents, and after spending thousands and thousands of dollars on Christmas for what seems like every kid in town ( we don't have kids, so we do it up for nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews every year), I figured I could get myself a tiny little present. I bought it 2 last Saturday, and had installed it myself by Sunday afternoon, using butt connectors, and shrink-wrapping then zip tying everything neatly together. The only thing I didn't do was get the bypass, because of a bad experience this summer where I paid a shop to install my AVH 4660 Next's bypass switch, and when I picked it up,not only did the video still not function, and they asked me to bring it back the next day just before close to have them find the issue. I can not got the life of me think of any other business that doesn't check to make sure something works before I told them that they could pick up the item they repaired because it was finished. Hell they had to drive it around the block because of one way streets, and didn't bother to bluetooth a phone to it or pop in one of their weird Kazakhstani porn like Borat Does The Herd (for great benefit of Kazakhstani People's and His Most Gigantic Prime Minister. Within a half hour of pulling out of their lot and agreeing to return the next day, my subs started cutting out, 5 minutes later they stopped completely. Before I made it another 2 miles, the truck died, and I had to pop the clutch and keep it damn near pegged in order to get it to Kroger so a tow truck could come get it and bring it to my brother in law's auto shop. Come to find out, they  had shorted something out so badly, that the solenoid wire on the truck had literally burnt into two pieces and my primary wiring harness to my ignition was a big old melt-y glob of my anger and discontent.

So I decided to but this deck for my Yukon as soon as I heard I didn't need a bypass switch at all. And I did my own install, nthe correct way. Today my head unit just shut off when I connected my phone via Bluetooth. Just "blink" and blank screen with a cricket soundtrack. I called pioneer and they had a solution at the ready which leads me to believe that this is a common issue. Which is Insanity to me that your second most expensive head unit has a bug like that. Their solution (which is the only thing that worked) disconnect my battery and wait 30 seconds to let the radio reset. It's 30 degrees outside, why don't they come mess around with the damned battery.

So now I am attempting to do the digital bypass, with a stopwatch and a second person to start step 4 the millisecond the watch reads 10.000 seconds. But it has yet to work. I got the unit 9 days ago at the beginning of December, so all updates are installed. I feel like I wish there were a dvd slot on this unit that maybe I could (do what Pioneer secretly wishes they could make a thing) just feed the great money out in the middle of my dash, hundred dollar bills until it's fat and happy and let's me get a little funny cats with birthday hats fart loudly to the tune of "Oh Canada". Cant I be a weirdo in peace. Don't you judge me...... Hey you... Yeah that's right you there with the phone in their hand. No the other guy who looks just like you and also has a G's membership to midgetgrannycakefarts.com.... judge not lest te be.... And all of that jazz..
