DMH-WT8600NEX triggering reverse input makes CarPlay GPS think I’m going in reverse?

I have the reverse signal wire connected to a 4 to 1 video input device that is connected to my turn signals so that when I change lanes it triggers the “reverse” wire so the video screen pops up showing my camera while I’m driving... (My only problem is every time a do this it screws up my navigation app (Waze/google/apple etc) in CarPlay making it think I started going the opposite way... and tries to reroute me until the “reverse” signal goes out then it fixes itself... can anyone tell me is this a pioneer or CarPlay “issue” and is there anyway resolving this?

Did you ever find a way around this.  I am in the same boat with a kenwood 1057xr.

Unfortunately not. Since your having issues with a Kenwood I wonder if it’s a CarPlay issue
