Mine does the same thing. On my previous 3G it did first, last now its last, first and annoying. I think you even have to speak the last name then first name in VR.

Thanks for responding. My car doesnt have a VR button on the steering wheel to begin with....unless through the PAC you can somehow set like the mode button to be VR? doubtful... I really do like the Z...i'll keep my eyes out and ill check out the 920 as well.

the austraila fix didnt work for me. also, if you hacked the phone book, wouldnt you need to do this every time you added a contact? Wouldn't it override everything? how annoying. Any other fix?

Hey guys, I have gone from the D3 to the F700BT and now strongly concidering getting the Z110BT. There are some conerns while following this forum i want to resolve before I fork over the $1k. The ipod connection problem (where ipod doesn't always connect, have to replug in) with the F700 is this consistent with the Z110BT? Would the PAC steering wheel remote and ipod cable work from my F700BT or would i need those too. When trying to listen to bluetooth audio on the display model in the Z110BT it wouldnt connect properly. Is there some magic way? (It did bluetooth handsfree calli

I have looked at this Z110 and immediately want to drop my F700 and swap it out with a Z110. I swapped out my D3 with the F700 no problem, pretty much a plug and play. My question is will all my accessories work with the Z series (ipod, steering wheel remote, backup camera) and just be a plug and play? Or could i have to completely rewire everything? I'm also assuming that the Z series can be parking break bypassed as well but i havent looked at it. Is it the same too? So far the Z110 looks like the best option. Any comments?

Hello, Until the recent pioneer update the caller ID worked most of the time when getting an incoming call from my iphone. When placing an outgoing call it would always say uknown. Now, whenever i get an incoming call it only displays the actual phone number even though my contacts are synced with the pionner. and it still displays unknown when placing a call from the iphone. Even when placing a call through VR it only displays the number. It's kind of annoying since one of the big reasons i upgraded from the D3 was for caller ID. Anyone have a fix?

I've also got a question about branding. I only get shell gas stations to show up and even so not all of them show up. There is a street where i work where there is a shell station like 1/4 mile away from each other and only one of them shows up on my map. they are not new so they should be in there.

I have had a stereo stolen one time. I am always worrying about someone stealing my F700, but i have my windows tintent limo and usually park in a highly visible area. Security guards patrol where i work and i garage my car. I dont have an alarm because whats the point? no body pays attention to them and it takes approximately 30 seconds for someone to be in and out with all your stuff. You will be lucky to get the page from your fancy alarm in that time let alone run out and see anyone still in your car. As far as smith and wesson guy, thats funny. I hope you do see someone breaking in

These mods are excellent! My thanks go to everyone who has worked on them. I'm having a similar response on my f90bt 3.01 that dhp did. Any POI icon takes me to a POI menu without the search function and save criteria causes the system to reboot (my CD kept playing so it seems just the display and related processes rebooted) If this is an issue someone has solved could they send me a message. So i adjusted the y coordinates to -1000 and i dont get the freeway signs anymore. But the first time i booted up i couldnt use the steering wheel remote, change AV source or even press the knob. I restarted the unit and now everything is working fine. odd. just posting this incase anyone else had this problem.

my guess would be bad wiring. check the harness?
