  1. Could anyone explain how to access the internal SD card from the Head Unit? Is there anything that I must disassemble?
  2. Anyone has the Avic-4200NEX backup SD card files? my unit gives me a software error and bootup loop issue
  3. Thank you! Initially I had installation problems but it was because I dragged and dropped instead of copying and pasting. Running V7 maps
  4. Did you pull the (-) cable as well? I am not sure what could be wrong but perhaps H2O got where it shouldn't have....
  5. To follow up on my own question, I disconnected both, starting with the negative, then positive + 5 min wait. Then positive and negative back. It worked! Thanks. Now at least I can hear BT music through my speakers - no BT calls nor Navigation TTS through the speaker
  6. 7 speakers (3 on dash, 2 in the front, 2 in the back) There is a Sony Xplode Amplifier underneath the drivers seat No, as far as I can see The steering wheel does have controls (basic) for the main unit I did not do the install myself - it came like that when I bought the vehicle. BT used to work for calls AND music. Now, it only works for music. If it was wired wrong, it would have never worked, right?! Navigation TTS reflects the same problem - sounds like if a ghost was giving me directions....
  7. Which terminal do you unplug? Positive, negative or both? If both, any particular order? I also updated to the 2015 maps and I am experiencing BT issues - My iphone 6 would pair but no music through the speakers....
  8. I just wanted to bump this thread. I am still having the same issue and have not been able to figure it out. I have tried the settings suggested in different threads. My BT works when I pair it to listen to music, Pandora, Youtube, etc. BUT when I make/receive a call, it switches to the speakers of the GPS unit. Navigation does the same thing (the audio from it comes through the unit itself and not my truck speakers).... I am lost!
  9. Hi Ron, As usual, you are always to the rescue. Thanks! I will try your instructions for my z130BT later on. BTW, there is no need to use a text editor and change any of the CardInfo.CIF file, right?
  10. Hi, First off, I get disgusted to see people on eBay trying to profit from the work of others..... I would understand if the creator decides to charge (would gladly buy to support the work). While it would be easy to buy it online, I feel like I am condoning such behavior. (Enough ranting - no offense to anyone) Anyway, I am running software version 5, Bluetooth 3.32 on my z130bt. I read the posts about updates but cannot find the sticky/pinned thread for updating to 2015 maps, version 6 software. Could someone please make a sticky or point me in the right direction? I see multipl
  11. OK. After reading all threads, I decided to try increasing the volume of the SLA to +8dB (max) and it all started working fine. I turned off vehicle, got back in and we are back to square one. The settings remain unchanged but the problem persists. Also, I moved the Fade all the way to the front. If I had a faulty BT, I wouldn't be able to listen to music via iTunes/Pandora/etc. So, it is got to be something else that is not registering well. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Should I reset to factory settings? If so, are there any implications in doing so? If I was to
  12. I am not sure what (if anything) I have done but all of a sudden the GPS audio does not project through the speakers. I mean, I can hear the text-to-speech from the main unit in the dash but no longer through my speakers. The same thing is happening when my phone is connected via Bluetooth. The calls (audio) is only heard from the main unit in the dash (not through the speakers anymore). The speakers are working fine. I use an iphone and music from the phone via itunes can be heard without a problem through the speakers. I just did the 5.0 update without a glitch, and I was hoping that w
