it will allow you to connect 4 cameras? I would like to add side mirror cameras so when I turn on right or left signals the 8500 would show it.... I have not purchased the model as of yet.. I have a 2018 Ram 2500 cummins

I have the AVIC-N4 in my Escalade and it works the IPOD and IPHONE perfectly. Sound, videos etc... It even shows playlists etc on screen. I have the AVIC-N2 in my car and it doesnt do s**t, it plays sound but you cannot tell where you are in the IPOD or Iphone. I am upgrading it to the AVIC-N5, next week. hope this helps

Just my 2 cents. I have the N2 in my car and I also have the 160gb IPOD. On the N2 the IPOD controls are very limited. Now I have the N4 in my truck and its awesome, much better controls for the IPOD including; playlists, albums, artists etc... and it even plays videos/movies ... Plus its bluetooth with my Iphone so I can talk through the truck stereo!

He is correct! I have a N2 and I tried an N4 brain and it did not work! I want the IPOD menu with my N2 but I guess its not going to happen.

Well I need to sell my AVIC-N2 so I can upgrade to an N-4. Any offers? Its in excellent shape, been in my lexus almost 2 years

I have a 1993 Lexus LS400 with a AVIC-N2 Installed.

I use to work at a place called Rex TV. We had something like that since they sold Pioneer. I have my own business now so no more of that. I don't think the D3 will fit in my car anyways. I have a 93 Lexus LS400 with an N-2 in now.

I have a N4 I just purchased and love it. I also have a N2 in my other car. My question is does the D3 have all the cool features as the N4? Like the badd a** ipod display, plays ipod video and has blue tooth?

havent heard of it. did the wire come out of the back of the head unit?

The N4 has a way better Ipod screen. The N2 ipod screen sucks. It shows nothing. I wish there was a way to upgrade the n2 for Blue tooth and Ipod menu. I have the N4 in my Escalade and the N2 in my lexus ls-400

It doesnt oh ok, cool.... I changed the backgrounds today. pretty cool... I have a AVIC-N2 in my other car and was also wondering can you change the brain over to a N4 and get bluetooth and the cool Ipod screen that will play videos. Chris
