  1. Whoa Relax...lol...I didn't think it was that bad, this must be something with the 2015 avic lineup. i have a 7000 and use the navi just about every day on interstates and side roads. it's nowhere near as bad as you describe on mine, just your normal stuff like the rest of them.
  2. i think you are throwing this a bit out of proportion, i have had many GPS units threw the years ranging from garmin portable units to several Pioneer avic units. Every single one of them miss pronounced street names on a regular basis. hell when garmin first put out a GPS it would take me off the highway then turn around just to get right back on the same highway i was just on.
  3. i have the 7000 and a iphone 6 i have no issues with bluetooth at all.
  4. i didn't have any issues either but i did notice the bluetooth pairs up a lot faster after the update
  5. not sure what kind of interface you are using but if i the headphone looking plug pulled out a bit it will cause havoc on the steering wheel buttons. one time i hade to pull the head unit out to do something and the plug pulled out a bit, all the steering wheel buttons changed there functions. seek up would be volume down...etc. check to see if the plug is pushed all the way in
  6. you can keep all of it, you might even get lucky with the wire harness being the same.
  7. soldering is always the best way, i would use wire the same gauge as on the radio and make sure its auto grade wire, and this t-clips have been nothing but problems for me so i never use them
  8. no issues with my 7000
  9. i would check the power, ground, and ignition connections, it sounds like one of them is loose causing the unit to keep rebooting
  10. i always thought it was the amount of POI and in which direction they where...lol
  11. i had a problem with my 7000 a few months ago with the gps not working and heres what i did. i called there service number, i spoke with someone and tried several options in an attempt to correct the problem, then i was told to ship it back for repairs. so guess what i did? i took the radio out, put my old one back in, then mailed it back for repairs. my point is all he did was send a email and expected a team of pioneer techs to come swarming over to his car and fix the issue. no where in his complaint did he actually call there 800 number to speak to someone and try some other options and ev
  12. It's nice to know you live in Lala land, I'll have to come visit you sometime...lol...but seriously you have some mental issues or something. You sent them an email about some problems you where having and now you're upset because you where expecting someone to call you...lol...pick up the phone and call them if you want to speak to a person and troubleshoot your problems. In what world does anyone from a major corporation contact anyone...lol...crappy customer service would be if they told you where shit out of luck but nope they told you to ship it back and we will repair it for you. That pr
  13. exactly how is that bad service there telling you if a reset does not correct the issue then send it in to be fixed? what exactly where you expecting them to say? it takes about three weeks to get back to you after sending it in and you can track the progress on there website after you file a repair claim
  14. i had the same problem a few months back when i told them i didnt have the proof of purchase and that it would take me a few days to get it. i was told the warranty date would start when the radio left the factory and it wouldnt be a problem. i then mailed the radio to pioneer in cali and two weeeks later they mailed a refurbished unit back to me. BTW i did buy it from a pioneer authorized dealer
