The firmware defaulted everything to factory. Once I disabled them on the NEX unit, they stopped system wide. The warnings have nothing to do with CarPlay. I believe they were in navigation options somewhere.

Timely thread. What does everyone use to clean their screen? I'm using a microfiber cloth, but was curios if anyone has found something better.

I'm assuming for this to work with an iPhone 5s I'll need to have to HDMI cable installed and use the Apple adapter?

Just had the 8000 NEX installed in my truck to use with CaprPlay once it's released. I've previously had the Ford My Touch in a 2011 Explorer, this is such a better experience!

Is there a step by step for adding custom backgrounds?

Does the camera offer any audible alerts when getting close to hitting something based upon the grid the 8000 NEX puts on the screen?
