pioneer avic f900bt firmware update wrong

I have version 4.0 with updated maps and full instructions, $20.00 which can be sent via paypal. That includes the instructions, SD card with new software and 2015 maps update. -
I just purchased a 900BT. It still has the first software and maps on it. I got an update card from pioneer prior to finding this site. It is version 2.08. I currently do not have the reboot problems and My question is should I use this update card or what version would anyone recommend to put on the unit. This is a US unit.
