  1. In general, plugging in isn't that big of a deal, but it would be nice to not have to. For convenience, I wish I could rig up some kind of stable docking station in my car, but haven't been able to figure that out yet. As it is, I've run the NEX carplay USB to a socket in my glove compartment and plug in there. Don't want messy wires laid out inside my car. One place where it gets inconvenient is when I'm doing drive-thru at Starbucks. I pay via my SB iPhone app, so I have to unplug, disrupting the podcast or music I'm currently listening to until I switch over to Bluetooth. Luckily, I don
  2. Yeah, it kinda works for me (4000nex), latest firmware; iPhone 5, last iOS). Unless music is really loud, it typically hears me and brings up the voice command screen. But it doesn't give the audible ding to indicate it is listening, and sometimes it is and then times out. I have to visually look to see if the voice command "waves" seem to be listening. And that's not good--would rather not take my eyes off the road. I hope this can be fixed/improved in coming updates. I have only had my 4000nex installed about a week now, and I have had one "Hey Siri" false-positive.
