Just wanted to let you know that I'm using an iPhone 5c and the music plays fine. Not that this is particularly helpful, but wanted to advise there's at least some i* compatibility, though I can't output video from my iphone.

i just bought and received it. I also bought the via to lightning converter and the cd-iv203 cable. However it is not displaying the apps nor can I watch video on it controlling my phone. Anyone have an idea what might be happening?
