What are the differences from the official US release?

The problem with Pioneer is that you will not see any firmware updates once a newer model is out. you'll pay extra $50 for the possibility of bug fixes and updates until March. Then - your support is kaput.

I have the same issue. for me, I see it happens mostly when I connect iPhone (carplay) during the splash screen. If I wait until the system is up, and only then connect my phone, I should be ok
