I have an appradio 3. I used to have it working with aru and a Samsung s4. It did take a special cable and messing with the firmware to get it charging however. I "upgraded" to an LG g5 which is great but is USB c and I don't want to root it. I've tried alsorts of options but it's a pain with the appradio. My latest plan is to buy a ( maybe faulty, or cracked screen) phone off eBay cheap and leave that permanently connected via a cable.. just connecting my g5 via Bluetooth for calls. First of all can I have 2 connected at once via Bluetooth, one for aru mode and one for calls? If so... Anyo

Hi I had my AR3 working great with my Galaxy S4 and ARL. I then got an LG G5 and don't want to Root it (Banking, Sky Sports and Android Pay mainly) so I am having to use the Pioneer software. I have tried a number of cables (the G5 uses USB-C) and none will charge the phone at the same time as casting over the cable. So, I have got an Easycast stick and use Miracast to receive the Video signal, leaving the port spare to charge the phone. Hi Thanks to this forum and others and browsing a number of posts, I have got my Galaxy S4 finally working, with GPS injection and charging, even using the USB out on the head unit I did have to look around a lot for the info though, so thought it may be useful to post it all together here, along with links as to where I got working cables from in the UK.
