None of the mods get rid of the navi nag warning screen. there is a .dll file that does and that is posted with my other front end mod from andr2000

Updated the data.zip with the Dec 02, 2009 changes from Andr2000. This pretty much is the end of the mods I am doing for the unit. Enjoy.

Don't wipe the flash disk, remove the ones you don't want and copy the ones you want in that folder. The names are not a problem as long as the ending of the files are what they should be and they are in the correct folder. The DEM folder is the folder that holds the files for terrain etc. That file ending is .dem The Map folder is the folder that holds all maps files, those end in .fbl The Building folder is the folder that holds all info about buildings those end in .3dl and 3dc The POI folder is the folder that holds all maps files, those end in .poi For those asking about my

If all you need is the building files for California, shoot me a PM with your email and I"ll zip them up and send them to you. If you want all of them for all states let me know and I'll send you link to download the zip file, its about 35 megs for all states.

Finished up the Dec 2 update with my mods. 1. For some reason I can't get the Route Progress to work correctly. Its there but not sure if its really broke or its me. 2. New route tools button on top left, pressing this causes the original route buttons I have to show up to use, after 5 seconds they disappear again. 3. Fixed the CarpositionCursor that was centered on the screen Will post it shortly.

Confirmed this morning that the dingdong.wav file is in fact the one that is the issue. I have my current zip updated (not posted) I'll work this weekend on getting some updates done and try to bring this current as well to the new andr2000 changes for the Dec 2 file.

Not sure what your installing, my mod has that file in there so you should not be getting that error. What exactly did you load?

Mine worked fine, I paired it but couldn't do any transfer of the phonebook. I shut the car off, turned the phone off for the night the next morning I got in the car, turned bluetooth on for the phone and a few mins later it asked to transfer the phonebook. It all worked fine after that.

The file for the dingdong sound is in the audio folder !nav_dingding.wav I have not heard this for anything else in the unit other than the turn restriction sounds. There is another file that does a single ding I have heard. It's pretty simple to just make a zero byte file with nothing and that would solve the problem. I have changed the file and attached if someone wants to test it out go for it. It should only effect the turn restriction mode. For the other questions about my plans, None really.
