Mine works just like old 3GS but still no charging only tried with apple adaptor though.

I tried doing this tonight and I failed I went into the iPhone settings and changed as you have said to but it did not work. Could be due to the fact I have a D3 or operator error was there any other steps I need to take

the 2nd gen explorer is a double din but not a true double din you will have to trim the bezal there is no way around it every 2nd gen you will have to do this they didnt go to a true double din fit until the 3rd gen

whhaaaaa I guess we will have to wait till 2010 to get our 2008 update if it ever releases. In all honesty I really fill ripped by pioneer here it is September 3/4 of the way through 2008 and yet there is still no update I think next time I want a nav headunit Ill just go by a garmin. Basically I paid $1000 on a head unit I should of spent my money else where maybe getting an eclipse head unit and a garmin nuvi. then I could have bought two garmins one for my car and one for my wife and still came under 1000 dollars.

The cap is a bad ideal. its about as useless as putting on a band aid on a fresh gun shot wound.[/url]

does the new ipod classic (6G) work with the video on the avic D3 and does the (5.5G) Ipod work flawlessly with video. meaning all i have to do is start video on ipod. Does the music work good with the (6g) Ipod just have to update firmware? I want to buy me an Ipod I just want to know which one, look for old or buy new. Im asking those who have experienced what I have asked not those who speculate what will happen.

It is the Grey with black stripe wire in the radio harness it is located on the small connector on the back of the stock radio.
