  1. I figured it out. You have to download Pioneer's "AVIC Feeds" program. I thought that was only for smart phones but it turns out that it's also for the home computer. Downloaded it and I can now see "gasmileage.DAT" but I'm a bit disappointed that it only saved the last entry. It didn't log each individual fill up but overwrote each previous entry every time.
  2. I have the X930BT in my car. It has the option of calculating/logging gas mileage. You enter how much gas costs, volume filled and kilometers driven and it then gives you L/100 kms. Fairly straight forward calculation and that's not the issue. On the gas mileage screen there is an "export to SD" button to save it on the card. I did that for a few months and now that my car is in storage for the winter I tried to upload them to my computer. On the card is a .DAT file. My computer (Windows 7) and my girlfriend's computer (some sort of newer MAC) don't know what to do with the file. I Googled a l
  3. I tried Googling this and it's surprising how little information there is on my issue. I'm looking for a double DIN navigation system (any make really but I prefer Pioneer) that can output the navigation source to a "rear" monitor but still have A/V screens up front. The set-up I'm going to have in my car is like the first one pictured below. The "rear" monitor is the one in the Honda display pod and the actual source unit is below the climate controls. My ideal goal would be to have navigation in the top screen and have my XM screen on the main unit. That is all I want. It doesn't matter
  4. Last night someone stole the full stereo out of my dad's 2004 F-350 Diesel. Happened after 2 am in his "secure" underground parking lot in the North side of Edmonton (Oxford). They were very professional in the job as they didn't break any plastic clips or cut any harnesses. I'll post some pictures up a little later but in the mean time, if someone notices a Pioneer AVIC-D1 for sale which has no box and a handwritten 2007 navigation disc it's ours.
  5. Does it still have the memo function for songs like the D3? Also can you post a picture of the screen shot for XM?
  6. OP: can you post a picture of what the XM screen looks like? Just various channels. Is it worse/better than the D3 interface? Or is it unchanged?

    Updating?

Do you have satellite radio? If so then that is what's doing it. If not then I don't know.

    D 4 IS HERE!!!!

    Damn, I fell for it.
  9. ^^Yes, channel zero then wait for it to scroll. Get a paper and pen ready so you can write it down as it scrolls. You can't see all the numbers at once. In XM you can.
  10. You will lose most of your display functionality like has been said above. The D3 interface is world's better then the other D series units though. At least you get a memo button.
  11. ^^I trust that speedo more then my car one as well. OP, like has been said above you needd to hook up the GPS antenna. They're cheap. Something like $30 in the classified's.
  12. Any electronics retail store that has a car audio shop will carry the kits. Or you can buy from the US's beloved crotchfield.
  13. Thanks esteefly. I assume you can venture an educated guess as to what car this engine is from :)
