  1. I have found that the following results in a smaller black bar at the top of the screen and a much more useable interface on the Pioneer radio: Connect Waze and the Pioneer as normal Pinch the map on the Pioneer unit - it will go completely black (not sure if this is really necessary though and you could just go to step 3) Press the button on the iPhone to exit out of the Appradio screen Launch Waze again from the iPhone It will restart on the Pioneer but with a better screen representation and a smaller black bar If I don't close the app down on the iPhone I've found that the screen setup
  2. Actually no worries - have got it sorted. Was just a faulty HDMI cable that the installer had used that somehow seemed to have problems that coincided with Waze v4. Changed the cable to a better quality and Waze works ok now through Appradio. There are of course still some of the UI glitches in the new version.
  3. I assume you guys are referring to the new IOS version 4 of Waze? Apart from the issue that you have mentioned with the bar taking up a lot of space when Waze is landscape mode, I'm very interested to know if Waze version 4 is actually working for you on your Pioneer? I have a AVIC-f70DAB (Australian version of the AVIC-8100NEX) but have so far been unable to even get Waze v4 displayed on my Pioneer whereas v3 worked fine (apart from the occasional reboot of my iPhone 6). Did you do anything specific to get Waze 4 connected to your radio? Would greatly appreciate your feedback.
