  1. UPDATE: I did a factory reset (paper clip in the small hole lower right corner). Radio apparently did reset, as it came up on a screen saying I need to enter the password. I know the password, so I clicked OK to get to the input screen. Nothing. The screen seems to not be responding to touch. Is there anything I can do, besides sending it in for repairs?
  2. I pulled my 4100NEX today to replace the Android cable to try to get it to work with Android Auto. I have a new Samsung Note9 phone with a USB-C connector, and I've read that the phones are fussy about what kind of cables you use for Android Auto. I tried a couple that I had around the house last week and they didn't work, so I picked up a couple different USB 3.1 Gen 2 cables last night. I pulled the radio out of the dashboard, and when I turned it on, it seemed to take a little longer on the Loading screen. It then went to the Warning screen, but I get no response to hitting OK. Can't get p
  3. I have a 4100NEX. Recently I've become unable to use the radio to make calls in my car. When I make or receive a call the other party can hear me, but I can't hear them. This happens over Bluetooth and when plugged in over Android Auto. I took the car into the shop that installed the radio. They checked all the connections and settings and said everything was ok, and blamed a setting on the phone. We have an AT&T service center in my town, so I took my Samsung Note5 there, and they told me that the problem was with the radio. So now I'm stuck in the middle. I turned off the Bluetooth on th
  4. Everything was hooked up right. Replaced the Pioneer MHL adapter with a generic one off eBay and it instantly started working.
  5. Thanks. What does "set in HDMI" mean?
  6. Hi, I recently installed a Pioneer 4100NEX in my 2014 Jeep Patriot. Android Auto works great with my Samsung Galaxy S5 running Android 5.0, but I can't get App Radio to work. I purchased the Pioneer CD-AH200 kit, and connected to the HDMI and USB cables using the MHL adapter. The phone is also Bluetooth connected to the radio. I installed the Appradio app on my phone and started it. When I hit the Home key on the radio the App button has an X and no apps appear. What am I doing wrong?
  7. How about a 2014-15 Cherry Red Jeep Patriot. And going with the Patriot theme, maybe a 'merica flag or a bald eagle or something for the background?
  8. I changed the splash screen on my 4100NEX to a picture I downloaded. That one comes on for about a second. Then a black screen with a red Pioneer logo and the word loading comes on. Is it possible to change that screen?
