As stated I'm using a Nexus 6 with my 4100NEX & mostly connect with Android auto, but sometimes I don't have time to find the usb cable & just connect with Bluetooth alone. But I've noticed that randomly my connection to the stereo is forgotten & I have to pair the device connection again. This happens on average 3 times a week. Has anyone else experienced this & /or know of a fix or root cause?

Just do a factory reset, something is funking up the groove!

I had this same issue, same stereo, same phone. My issue was that the green ground wire came out of the box with a very short exposure cut & appearantly lost contact with the crimped connecter I'd used. When I removed the unit went back to the green wire & used a wire stripper to make a longer exposed cut of the wire, used a new crimped connecter everything has been great again.
