Hello all hope someone can help as im on the verge of throwing this unit in the bin. I recently bought the unit as it looked really good and exactly what i was after. I upgraded the software to the most up to date for using a lightning cable and bought a apple av adaptor. the bluetooth works fine and if the car has been sat for a few hours it will connect to appradio app no bother but after that it will not connect to appradio if the car has been shut off with phone connected or for short period of time. is there a software downgrade so i can just use a ipod touch with 30 pin connector thanks

mine does this too with iphone 6 . apple av adaptor and software updated it will connect to phone bluetooth all the time but it will try and launch appradio and when i accept it nothing happens unless the car has been sitting for a good few hours it seems to connect ok first time then afte that if i switch car off then on again soon after it will not connect to appradio app. this has anoyed me to the stage that the unit is being sold as its a pile of crap

I may do this to mine as I have the Europe firmware for my iPhone 6 and I will connect the first time in the car but after that I just won't connect to phone at all for using music . The Bluetooth is fine but the apps are a pain in the ass

Is there a way to stop you having to accept the app on your phone when you launch it on the stereo . It's a bit annoying having to press the stereo to launch the app then having to press accept on the iPhone

It seems the apple AV adaptor was a crap fake one . Got a real one and works perfect

Hello all hope you can help I have just installed my sph-da100 and updates to 8.30 I have the new cables for this and ordered a apple AV adaptor . The phone connects with Bluetooth and the hands free works perfect , the apps did work for 1 car journey now the apps bit is not even allowing me to press it and if I click the app radio icon on my phone is still does not do anything. I'm wondering if the apple AV adaptor was a fake and has broken already can anyone confirm that if the AV adaptor is not connected to the hdmi then the app icon on pioneer head unit does not light up or show pairing? I
